In this new addition to our web page, Pet Pix will bring to you each week, a blog featuring an adorable pet.

You've thought enough of them to have their photos done and we appreciate the opportunity to create a work of art for you, whether a photograph, digital art image or an oil painting, we make a piece of art from your pet's unique image.

Brooks, our main photographer, recently photographed this adorable Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie Mix) at her home.

The client was apprehensive about getting her puppy to cooperate for the photo session, so Brooks suggested that he would be responsible for getting excellent results.

After introducing Molly the Morkie to Brooks, the client decided that she had something to do in another room. He got to work, doing what he does best ... charming an animal into being very curious about what he is doing.

Brooks started out in the living room and had to work hard for the first few shots. Strange mouth noises, a flying feather, a squeekie, make for a curious, head tip with total attention.

Molly was having a great time and her inquisitive personality is captured; an artistic image, will emerge, and memories are made.

Memories are Priceless!

Brooks utilizes the home's backgrounds for some unique and beautiful images. The living room had wonderful rich colors and fabrics, with dark wood.  He chooses his background carefully, to display the homeowners taste and special elements in the home.

The client was surprised to see her dog sitting on the kitchen table; the copper pots in the background add a warm, colorful addition to the image.

After the photo session, Brooks sat with the client, and helped her choose her favorites.
